Ladki

Here is a poem written by me when I was in class X. This poem is dedicated to all the girls and  women who have been deprived of various needs and amenities - the girl who is a child laborer, the girl child married forcefully, the girl who is abused by the society and the list continues.

The poem is written using Hindi words and has an indirect meaning, i.e "Rupak Alankar" which we call metaphor in English has been used here.

Sunn re ladki

Tu na murjhaana

Kyun kali bani tu

Tu Khiljana!!

Tujhko hai aaj

Sugandh failana

Apna paraag phool bann

Dusron tak pahuchana!!

Tu kar sakti hai 

Unka naash

Jinhe nahin tere

Sugandh ka aabhas!!

Haan tere mein

Mata Shakti ka waas

Bas tujhe hona 

Iska aihsaas!!

Tu nayi subah 

Kya dekh rahi

Bas aaj 

Abhi khilja!!

Kyun kali bann

Andar hi andar ghutt rahi

Phool bann

Apne tej ko faila!!

Agar koi tujhe 

Mod-machod

Machaata hai

Apne sukh ka shor!!

Tab tu apne 

Kaaton dwara

Kar sakti hai unke 

Dheeraj ko tod!!

Haan abhi surya hai

Is duniyan mein

Jo de sakta hai

Tujhko roshni!!

Bas tu khilja

Aur chaaron oor

Apne sugandh 

Ko failaa !!
